Oh and no matter how often she sh*ts on Prisoner I’ll NEVER agree with her! Rap aside, the hook is just relentless and when she hits that note towards the end (the same one Celine hits in All By Myself that gets her so much praise) it’s so impressive! #JusticeForPrisoner hahaI think you took it like I had a problem with the debut album. As far as first albums go I’m hard pressed to think of another artist who did it better!

I feel like Mariah’s personal feelings might have muddied the waters if people have issues with the debut. I also can’t be mad at the producer suggestions in relation to her vocals because those are EPIC. I also love that the album is so 80s flavoured. She always says Someday was too different to her demo version (which I wish she would let us hear) but it’s still a fantastic dance song! It annoyed me so much when she replaced the hit version with the Unplugged version on #1’s. This doesn’t mean that what we got was anything close to bad! The finished product in my opinion is one of her BEST albums. What remixing would you want done to the debut?!? I know Mariah slags off the production on some of the songs because she didn’t like working with established producers who had different opinions on how the songs should sound.
